Synonymous with innovation and determination, in the former athletic career for over a decade nationally and internationally. Translating the knowledge and experiences gained in sport, as an athlete and coach, in search for the next big performance. Applying gained expertise to real life scenarios as a student, a family man and proprietor. Fluent in four languages, enables to adapt instantaneously to different environments. The belief of continuous learning and pursuing excellence sets the priorities apart from the rest. The current drive to break through, the iron will where “No” can inspire to do the impossible achievement.


After his retirement from amateur sports in 2003, Kraatz has pursued professional coaching. He is a Skate Canada NCCP certified level 3 coach and has worked as a full-time coach for national and world team members in figure skating. 

Currently he is applying his skating technique expertise to help hockey players achieve longer stride and balance while increasing their agility resulting in an overall improvement of power and glide.
